Katrina had no safe place to stay with her two children.
She was facing serious health issues, has a child on the Autism spectrum and came home to the unthinkable...a note on her door letting her know that she and her children were being evicted. She was devastated and had no idea where she would go to keep her children safe.
Katrina found out about Vision House and was able to meet with staff, who worked with her on these immediate needs. They gave her the support she needed to find resources for housing, safety and even providers that can help her daughter.
The need is great! Homelessness is exploding in our community. Tonight in King County over 40,000 men, women and children are living on the streets, their cars, or are couch surfing. At Vision House we’ve designed our services to directly impact these crucial needs for families in our community, to break the cycle of homelessness.
Your gift provides a warm meal, resources for housing, professional care and more for a family experiencing homelessness through our Diversion Centers.
