Vision House is a faith-based non-profit whose mission is to follow Jesus in working with families experiencing homelessness to promote positive transformation. Motivated by our faith in Jesus, we serve homeless men, women and children as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.
Foundational to our work is the commitment to a shared faith by our staff, board of directors, and interns, and a common understanding of how that faith is lived out day-to-day. As our faith is at the heart of all we do, applicants are asked to commit to uphold our Statement Of Faith, Mission Statement and Core Values.
While we are an equal opportunity employer, Christian faith is a prerequisite for employment at Vision House, based upon United States federal guidelines provided in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
NOTE: Although Vision House was founded on Christian principles and beliefs, spiritual activities are optional for residents. Vision House does not discriminate against diversion or housing program applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, familial status, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability.
