The Vision House Thrift Store has PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

We are no longer taking donations.  

After months of research and careful consideration, the Vision House Board has made the difficult decision to close the Thrift Store in Renton. Though intended to produce revenue for the organization, the store has struggled to be profitable.

This decision is a reflection of our commitment to steward every dollar well and hone our focus as an organization. Vision House remains in solid financial standing.  We are grateful for all who have volunteered and donated over the past 30 years!

Can we still drop off our used items? 

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any used items, as we do not have the space or staff capacity to process these things.  We will instead be focusing on equipping our apartments for new families moving to Vision House.  You can see items that we need here.  

Where should we take our used household items? 

We recommend donating to other local charities or thrift stores in the area.

Can I still donate new items for families? 

Yes! we will still take donated items via our Amazon wishlist and other means. Opportunities to support will be communicated through our website, newsletters and social media.
