Derek Sciba

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer Derek Sciba considers it a gift to lead Vision House, an organization that comes alongside families as they move beyond homelessness. Before joining Vision House as CEO in 2024, Derek served for six years on the organization's board of directors, two as board president. For nearly two decades, Derek has served in leadership roles with nonprofit organizations, most recently at World Vision. Earlier in his career, he worked as a television news reporter, telling stories that sought justice and accountability for families and individuals who had been harmed. Derek grew up in Auburn and now lives in Newcastle with his wife and daughters.
