Thank you Eastside Church for partnering with Vision House!

Our Mission at Vision House is to follow Jesus in working with the poor and homeless to promote positive transformation of their lives.

Homelessness in King County is exploding. The need, right now, is massive.

For just $60 you can provide a night of safety and hope for a family experiencing homelessness.

Why is there so much homelessness and what does it take to break the cycle of homelessness?

At Vision House, our model for breaking the cycle of homelessness includes:

Diversion Centers:
These are safe, welcoming places where we offer in-person assistance to help families early in their homeless crisis, with support including: financial counseling, housing applications, resources like food and healthcare, counseling and recovery referrals, laundry and shower facilities and more. The goal: to help families identify swift and practical solutions to secure housing and create stability.

Family Program:
Our transitional housing apartments in Renton and Shoreline provide temporary housing for families experiencing
homelessness for one year, on average.  In that time, families will partner with caseworkers and work on plans to address barriers to stability. We equip families to weather storms that come their way, through Case Management, Youth and Family Advocacy and our Alumni Program.

Children’s Village:
Childcare is a challenge for many people in low-wage jobs and for parents experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. Yet it is a necessary, critical resource. Children’s Village is a Christ-centered, accredited program that offers licensed, onsite childcare for Vision House families and is also available to community members in Renton and Shoreline who need a local, competitively-priced option for childcare.

We are grateful for such an amazing community that is helping to care for the most vulnerable.  Thank you!
