For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Vision House. I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit helps!

We believe everybody — and every family — deserves a healthy home. Vision House provides transitional housing and support services to families with children who are experiencing homelessness.

Here’s the issue: homelessness in King County is exploding. The need is massive. While even just one person experiencing homelessness is too much, over 12,000 is a crisis, and that’s what’s on our hands — 12,000 men, women, and families are living on the streets, in their cars, or couch surfing in King County.

Our program is designed to help families move from the crisis and trauma of the homelessness they are currently experiencing, to future stability and self-sufficiency. We’ve built our services - Family Services Program, Child Care, Diversion, and Youth and Family Advocacy - to impact these crucial needs in our community directly.
