Help Fill Our Shelves With Winter Essentials

As our seasonal cold and wet weather continues, Vision House is seeing more and more families come to us for help. Some are sleeping in their cars. Others are huddled in tents trying to stay warm. We recently heard about a family of five who were so cold that our staff brought blankets and sleeping bags straight to their car.

Your Donation Helps Keep a Family Warm and Safe This Winter

Giving today will make a real and tangible difference by providing warmth and care for a family experiencing homelessness. You do that by providing essentials like blankets, hand warmers, warm clothing, baby sleep sacks, and the personal help of a caring professional from Vision House. Our storeroom of winter supplies here at Vision House, and its shelves, are dangerously empty. We need to raise $30,000 before February 28 to fill the shelves with supplies to keep families warm and cared for this winter.

The cold- and wet-weather items your gift will provide are secured by Vision House at a special reduced price, which means your financial gift goes even further to purchase these much-needed items. The best news is that your gift will be DOUBLED, up to $10,000, thanks to generous challenge funds, to do twice as much for a family in need. Your gift will warm hands and warm hearts. You’ll be the hands and feet of Jesus to someone cold, scared, and out of options.

Make a Gift Today and Double Your Impact

Remember, your gift will be DOUBLED to help a family sleeping in the cold receive emergency warmth and care. You should also know that your gift will provide more than emergency support. You’ll make sure that families get all the other help they need: for example, parents will receive job counseling and support finding permanent housing, while children will get help with school and have nutritious meals.

Before homelessness gets worse for a family tonight, you can show your care for families experiencing homelessness. Help fill our shelves with winter essentials to keep our unhoused neighbors warm.
