VISION HOUSE LUNCHEON
Our 2026 Vision House Luncheon was both uplifting and informative, bringing 600 people together and raising $833,000 to end family homelessness. Featured speaker Rev. Eugene Cho, President and CEO of Bread for the World, shared about the power of seeing each person we meet: valuing them as Christ did, and not treating them like statistics or points to fit our own narratives.
Bri Baines, Vision House Director of Family Transition, shared her about her work each day with families experiencing homelessness. Local actors took part in this year's exhibits to help show firsthand what homelessness can look like: like families living in a car or teens sleeping on a distant relative's couch.
Each year, 90% of families in Vision House transitional housing move to permanent housing, equipping them to break the cycle of homelessness for good.
You play a crucial role in making this possible. As Rev. Cho told us, "Change doesn't just happen in legislation. It happens in living rooms. It happens in kitchens and dining tables. In schools. In churches." Please join us to help end family homelessness.
Together, we can provide more nights of safety for kids and families in our community.

VISION HOUSE LUNCHEON
Our 2025 Vision House Luncheon was both uplifting and informative, bringing 700+ people together, and raising $760,000 to end family homelessness. Featured speaker and author, Kevin F. Adler, shared about his personal experience with family homelessness; Kevin’s Uncle Mark lived on and off the streets for 30 years with severe mental illness. Kevin connected homelessness to relational poverty in a very real way, with stories of people experiencing homelessness he’s met through his work.
Their stories sounded like many we’ve heard at Vision House, stories of families living in their car or a tent, maybe even on a friend’s couch.
Homelessness is complex, and we’re committed to walking with families, to support them in their journey towards housing stability.
Executive Director and event speaker, Derek Sciba, challenged all of us with this question—
How many nights of safety can you provide a mom or dad and their kids?
When you provide nights of safety and care you are joining a community committed to end family homelessness.
