Give a Night of Safety and Care for Local Families in Need
As you read this, many local families have nowhere else to go. Moms and their kids are spending cold nights in a car or on a friend’s couch.
Elena lost her job after being seriously injured in a car accident. With her income gone, she couldn’t afford rent and was evicted. Now this young mom and her two little ones have nowhere to go.
They spend many cold nights in her car and Elena lies awake, praying that God will keep them safe. As you can imagine, she just wants a safe place to rest and start fresh!
Will you provide a night of safety and care for a family experiencing homelessness this Christmas?
Your gift of $60 will provide one night of safe housing and professional care for an entire family.
Give by December 24, and that gift is DOUBLED to provide twice as many nights for a family.
Diversion Center Needs
At our Diversion Centers in Renton and Shoreline, we provide one-on-one, in-person assistance by appointment. This support includes:
- access to computers for housing and employment searches
- guidance in navigating community resources
- laundry and shower facilities
- tangible items such as clothing and blankets, and support with grocery and transportation needs.
All items purchased through our wishlists are shipped directly to the correct Diversion Center address and are acknowledged as in-kind charitable contributions. For a receipt please contact our front office at 425.228.6356 or info@visionhouse.org.
